About SICAPT

Mission Statement

The main objective of SICAPT is to ensure that the proper analysis and theory behind airplane design is more easily understood and more readily available.

First, our software is designed with the user in mind. The main window  always remains visible,  allowing all the information involved in the conceptual configuration of the design to remain in view at all times. The contents, glossary and references are useful and exhaustive sources of information to guide the design and analysis process.

Secondly, to ensure wider accessibility, we offer products of quality at a very reasonable price.

SICAPT believes that AeroPAD products are an educational tool for both the recreational and the professional pilot. They are a useful aid for homebuilders in  the initial process of designing a sportplane.

Services

SICAPT  also offers consulting services in the initial phases of aircraft design.

We can also develop a personalized  AeroPAD program that suits the specific needs of a client.

SICAPT, naturally, will ensure complete support for any user of this product.

For any information about our products and services, or if you need assistance, please feel free to CONTACT  us.

Who is SICAPT

SICAPT is a partnership composed of Pierre Tessier, a pilot and designer, and Louis-Luc Pagé, an aeronautical engineer.

Pierre Tessier is a professional sculptor but also a pilot and an amateur homebuilder. He designed  his first airplane at the age of 17 (in the 1960s , EAA #19721). After putting aside homebuilding  for family and professional reasons, he has recently become reinvolved in airplane design ans homebuilding.

Louis-Luc Pagé is an aeronautical engineer, with a masters degree from  Montreal Polytechnic University. He is now working as an engineer at General Electric - Airplane Motors at the plant in Bromont, Quebec, Canada.  Louis-Luc is the husband of Pierre Tessier's daughter, Marie-Hélène Tessier. When Louis-Luc began to show  his father-in-law  the marvelous world of of using computers  to work out calculations necessary for airplane design, the idea of creating an easy, practical and efficient software  took form. This idea has grown into AeroPAD.
