Using AeroPAD.1 is a simple and logical process.  The first step in the process of finding a design is to establish a flight mission  and to conceive a design around this mission. The user is able to interactively refine its parameters by testing how the design is performing, eventually ending up with a design that suits all the needs of the airplane mission.

The user simply simply needs to input the following information that describes the general configuration  of the airplane  as adequately as possible:

Weight

AeroPAD.1 automatically calculates the results needed to analyze the conceptual configuration of the design and to estimate its performance. To make this task easier, the program offers an Help section, a Glossary and References that are a useful and  exhaustive source of informations.

AeroPAD.1 is a user-friendly program based entirely on the use of  one  window, allowing  all the pertinent  information to be in view throughout the conceptual design process. All the operations of the software can be carried out with normal use of the keyboard and  mouse.

Aero
PAD.1
use both the imperial and metric systems of measurement. The speed data is measured in mph, km/h and  kts.

Aero
PAD.1
has the capacity to save as many  designs as the user needs. It is also possible to open and to print either a basic or  complete report.

The following are examples of how  AeroPAD.1 works :
